Hot Spiked Cider with Homemade Rum Chata Whipped Cream
This is the perfect combination of a deliciously toasty drink topped with a sinful whipped cream made even better with Rum Chata. It's fall in a glass!
1 cinnamon stick
1 shot of apricot brandy
1 c cream
3 shots of Rum Chata
2 t sugar or Splenda
1 t vanilla extract (make sure to use the real stuff, it's so much better than the artificial stuff)
Start your cider warming up with a cinnamon stick for added flavor. While it's warming start beating your cream. I like to use a tall bowl, but not very large. I find it works best for whipping the cream. Once your cream is well whipped, add your Rum Chata and sweetner. Mix in your added ingredients and then finally mix in your vanilla.
Remove the cider from the heat and pour into your mug, top it off with your Rum Chata whipped cream and garnish with cinnamon. Enjoy!
