Easy DIY: Decomesh pumpkin centerpiece

Are you wanting to spruce up your fall décor? I created a fun table top, or wall hanging, pumpkin out of orange deco mesh, some fun fall leaves and “burlap” mesh for the stem. Check out the easy to understand steps below.

MeshPumpkinCenterpiece

Supplies
18" wire wreath frame
Taped floral wire, I buy the long ones and cut them so it's cheaper
1.5 rolls of large orange mesh (12" width)
Burlap deco mesh for stem
Wire pliers

First cut the floral wire ties into three pieces. Then take the wires and thread them through the frame. I twist so that the wires face the front of the wreath so they don't scrape the table or the wall. Take the orange mesh, bunch it and secure it with your cut floral wire.

Continue to work your way around the frame rotating from the outside ring to the inside ring of the frame. This will help you keep the pumpkin full. Make sure your loops are large enough that they will go to the center. Otherwise you will create a wreath and not a pumpkin.

To make the stem take 8-10" of the "burlap" mesh. Roll this up and then cut it shorter. I just cut mine in half so that it was the right height for a stem. I added some fall leaves and a raffia bow add the final touch.
